Kilnhouse Row 8 Wines
We are pleased to offer our Prosecco, Vermentino and Tempranillo wines produced from the Kilnhouse vineyard.
Kilnhouse Row 8 Prosecco
Kilnhouse Prosecco has been rested on lees for 12 months prior to disgorging by hand using the traditional champenoise method. This means the prosecco is not so sweet but instead is dry and savoury with light fruity nuances and a crisp refreshing finish.
Kilnhouse Prosecco is made by the talented winemaker Jo Marsh, who also makes wine under her own label – Billy Button Wines.
Kilnhouse Row 8 Tempranillo
Kilnouse Row 8 Tempranillo has gorgeous lifted notes of preserved cherries, dark red berries and sarsaparilla. The palate is pure deliciousness. Medium bodied with juicy red fruits – raspberry and mulberry – spice and lovely savoury earthy characters bringing interest and complexity. Soft, powdery tannins give beautiful finish, with everything in harmony and lovely balance.
Kilnhouse Row 8 Tempranillo is made by the winemaker Eleana Anderson, who also makes wine under her own label – Mayford Wines.
Kilnhouse Row 8 Vermentino
Kilnhouse Row 8 Vermentino has lifted citrus aromas paired elegantly with white floral flowers and herbs reminiscent of thyme and rosemary. Aging on yeast lees has given rise to a delicate rich palate, pairing subtle texture with golden delicious apples, lemon zest and nuances of saline.
Kilnhouse Row 8 Vermentino is made by winemaker Jo Marsh, who also makes wine under her own label – Billy Button Wines.
