Feathertop Winery
Just across the road from Kilnhouses. Alacarte Lunch on the terrace is lovely. There is also an extensive local produce deli cabinet where you can create your very own deli platter. Free wine tasting and a gorgeous view of Mount Buffalo – and walking or riding distance from the Kilnhouses!
Ringer Reef Winery
Located 3 km from the kilnhouses just before Porepunkah on the (bike) rail trail. You can sometimes buy a lunch platter there but olives and home made bread are served with their wine tasting –lovely spot for a picnic and destination for a bike ride.
Mayford Winery
Open only by appointment, Mayford Winery is a hidden gem with one of the most picturesque outlooks in Porepunkah. Located in between Feathertop and Ringer Reef wineries, winemaker Eleana Anderson’s high quality award winning wines should not be missed. Contact us if you would like to book a tasting.
Billy Button Cellar Door and Wine Bar
Serving an extensive range of award winning wine from well known local winemaker Jo Marsh. The cellar door is now serving a wide range of imported and local cheese.
Jo also makes and stocks the Kilnhouse wine (Kilnhouse Row 8 Verdelho and Prosecco).
Bright Brewery
A local Bright icon. Well known to tourists and locals alike, the brewery has a good pub style menu, a range of their own crafted beer on tap and is located along the river overlooking the park.
Reed and Co Gin Distillery
One of the newest bar/café to eat in town. A partnership between Tani (recently closed chef hat restaurant ) and Sixpence Coffee sees a unique eating and dining space where you can sample Tani’s latest venture, a gin distillery in a relaxed bar setting where small food plates will be on offer.
